New ECC President

To my ECC Family,

It is with a mix of gratitude and responsibility that I, as your current Vice-President, step into the role of President of our esteemed chapter. With the stepping down of President Joel de Guzman ‘92, I will be completing his term until July 2026. Cavalier Joel has left a lasting impact on our organization, and it is my honor to carry forward his legacy.

As your new president, I pledge to uphold the cherished traditions of our chapter as a social organization for PMA alumni, former cadets, our families, and friends. I am deeply committed to fostering enduring camaraderie and care among our members. Together, we will continue our beloved fellowships and annual events, including our traditional Christmas Hop and the highly anticipated Jurado Cup. We will be open to continuing our get-togethers for special occasions as the opportunity presents itself.

This transition marks not just a change in leadership, but also an opportunity for us to strengthen the bonds that unite us, as members of the ECC Family. I humbly ask for your support as I embark on this new role. Your involvement and camaraderie are vital as we strive to make our chapter a welcoming and engaging community for all members.

One of my first initiatives as president is to address the vacancy for the position of vice president, which arose due to my assumption as president. This is a crucial role within our leadership team, and I am reaching out to all members to consider stepping forward to helping me effectively run our organization.

Thank you for your trust and participation in this journey ahead.

Sincerely,
Robinson “Berong” Oliveros ‘97
President, East Coast USA Chapter
