Last Sunday, August 31st, marked another significant occasion for ECC as we celebrated the installation of new officers and welcomed new members. This event brought us together for a day filled with camaraderie and memorable moments of rekindling old friendships and forging new connections. The occasion also provided an excellent opportunity for newcomers to integrate into our ECC family fostering relationships that extend beyond mere social gatherings.
The food were delicious and overflowing! From savory dishes to delightful desserts, the variety was truly overwhelming. Each dish brought a little joy and a lot of flavor to the table! We’re pretty sure that everyone left with full bellies and happy hearts.
Cav Warlie Sadiarin ’67, the most senior member present, served as the Installing Officer. He officiated the oath-taking ceremony for the newly appointed officers. Cav Robinson “Berong” Oliveros ’97 was sworn in as President, Cav Lyle Rosos ’01 as Vice President, and Harold Ochoco as Secretary & Treasurer. Their oath not only reflect their dedication but also promise a bright future for ECC, as they carry forth the mission and values of our Chapter and Alma Mater.
After a delightful oath-taking ceremony for our new officers, the real fun began with a karaoke session that had everyone on their feet. Honestly, who doesn’t love belting out their favorite tunes, right? The laughter and the spontaneous dance moves specially by Jook made it a truly unforgettable experience!
One of the highlights was watching the kids grab the microphone with sheer confidence. It warmed our hearts to see them join in on the fun, proving once again that music knows no age. The joy on their faces not only lit up the floor but also our spirits!
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, especially our new members and their families. Your participation turned the event into a delightful gathering filled with camaraderie and joy. We hope you had as much fun as we did! We can’t wait to see your smiling faces again at our next fellowship.
